The Inspector General of Tanzania Police Force Camillius Wambura and the Nelson Mandela African Institution of Science and Technology (NM-AIST) Vice Chancellor Prof. Emmanuel Luoga signed Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on collaborative on forensic sciences and cyber security areas to its Staffs members.

The signing Ceremony took place at Moshi Police Academy (CCP) on 31st August, 2022 whereby the Occasion was witnessed by Legal Officers of the two parties.

“Forensic is an area of concern, hence the need to collaborate in undertaking training on forensic and other areas of concern for the benefit of the national economy” Said Inspector General of Tanzania Police Force Camillus Wambura.

He added that the purpose of this memorandum of understanding is to establish cooperation and collaboration in Forensic sciences and Cyber Security.

NM-AIST Vice Chancellor Prof. Emmanuel Luoga said that the Memorandum of Understanding will collaborate to achieve the desired objective despite that each party will be guided by principles and rules laid down by their respective establishing laws.

He added that this Memorandum of Understanding will remain in force for a year (1) renewable upon Parties consent by Collaborating jointly in organizing and participating in conferences, workshops and seminars, and promote Collaboration in data Storage and processing results.
