The Nelson Mandela African Institution of Science and Technology (NM-AIST) recently held a targeted workshop for its Management team to strengthen report writing and presentation skills, supporting timely and informed decision-making.

Speaking at the workshop, the NM-AIST Chancellor, Hon. Omari Issa, stressed the need for clear, concise and action-focused reports that are easy to read and guide leadership decisions.

Workshop facilitator Ms Neema Ndunguru, a Pan-African development practitioner, led practical sessions on presenting information effectively. She emphasised the use of simple language, clear structure and engaging delivery to ensure messages are understood and retained.

In his remarks, the Deputy Vice Chancellor, Prof. Maulilio Kipanyula, urged participants to apply the skills gained to develop modern and engaging reporting and presentation approaches that can set standards for other institutions.

Through this initiative, NM-AIST continues to strengthen senior leadership communication and improve the quality of information used for planning, management and institutional delivery.
