Mr. Kurwa Guyashi is an Assistant Lecturer of Accounting, Banking, and Finance in the School of Business Studies and Humanities at The Nelson Mandela African Institution of Science and Technology (NM- AIST). Before joining The NM –AIST, Mr. Guyashi had worked with the University of Arusha and Mzumbe University in his areas of expertise. Kurwa Guyashi holds a Master of Science in Accounting and Finance and a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting. Professionally, he is a Certified Public Accountant from The National Board of Accountants and Auditors Tanzania and a Certified Professional Banking from Tanzania Institute of Bankers. He has authored and co-authored publications in the areas of accounting and finance. His research areas of interest include financial innovation, financial inclusion, microfinance, corporate governance, and SMEs development.
