

Kulwa Mang’ana specializes in the fields of Accountancy, Business and Financial Management. He is a faculty member in the School of Business Studies and Humanities
Kulwa is a Certified Public Accountant, ACPA-3353. He holds a PhD in Agribusiness from Sokoine University of Agriculture, Master’s Degree in Business Management from the Moshi Cooperative University (MoCU), Bachelor of Arts Degree (Cooperative Management and Accounting) and a Professional Level Three (III) Certificate, Graduate Category: from the Procurement and Supplies Professional and Technician board-PSPTB.
Before joining NM AIST, he worked at The Open University of Tanzania (OUT), where he taught Accounting and Finance courses to both undergraduate and non-degree students. He has taken part in various research writing projects, providing budgetary advice, and being involved in the write-ups.
He has also worked with Academic Centers such as CREATES, as well as significant appointments including his tenure as Department Head and Chief Accountant of the Kilimanjaro Clinical Research Institute (KCRI) within the Kilimanjaro Christian Medical Centre (KCMC-KCRI). Notably, he has also held the position of Chief Accountant at Burka Coffee Estates in Arusha.
His thematic research interest center around Agribusiness with a focus on Financial Management and Organizational Performance of Agri-SMEs.
