His main research interests are in ecosystems and environmental management, with a focus on Wetland ecology, ecosystem functions and services, Social-ecological and Economic research, Natural Resource Governance, Fisheries and Aquaculture, Climate change Adaptations and Mitigation studies, and use of GIS software to analyses spatial and non-spatial information.
