The Nelson Mandela African Institution of Science and Technology (NM-AIST), in partnership with Floresta Tanzania, hosted Workshop 3 of the NM-AIST–Floresta Tanzania Training and Knowledge-Sharing Series. The workshop is part of the Digital Hub for Open Research in East Africa, funded by the Templeton World Charity Foundation (TWCF) through INASP (U.K.).

Held on 26th November 2025 at Corridor Springs Hotel in Arusha, the workshop aimed to consolidate the lessons learned throughout the one-year project period (2025) and build on insights from the Opening Event, Training Events 1 and 2, as well as the Knowledge Exchange sessions from the previous workshop.

Project Lead Prof. Mwemezi Rwiza commended participants for their strong engagement and the significant progress made by the Digital Hub for Open Research in East Africa this year. He emphasized the importance of sustained collaboration, especially between researchers and the broader community.
