The Nelson Mandela African Institution of Science and Technology (NM-AIST) employees joined workers worldwide in celebrating International Workers’ Day on May 1, 2024.
The event took place nationally in Arusha at the Sheikh Amri Abeid stadium, with the Vice President of the United Republic of Tanzania, Dr. Philip Mpango, as the official guest.
NM-AIST showcased innovations, research, and academic products in exhibition vehicles, demonstrating their commitment to supporting the government’s efforts in contributing to society and industry while addressing various societal challenges.
This year’s slogan was “Salary Increase is the Basis for Good Benefits and Protection Against Difficult Life Situations.”
