Dr. Liliane Pasape is currently serving as a Senior Lecturer at the Department of Business Administration and Management within the School of Business Studies and Humanities of the Nelson Mandela African Institution of Science and Technology. She obtained a Bachelor of Science in Animal Science from the Sokoine University of Agriculture (2004), a Masters of Business Administration (MBA) in International Business from the Indian Institute of Foreign Trade (2006), and a PhD in Business Administration specializing in Marketing from the University of Dar es Salaam (2013). Her professional skills and research interests include business administration and management; business strategies; international trade and marketing management; value chain management; and application of innovation and entrepreneurship concepts in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM). Dr. Pasape’s career comprises involvement in both private and public sectors as an employee and consultant, as well as serving on various boards of directors. In 2007, she joined the Fair Competition Commission as a Consumer Affairs Officer, and in 2008 and 2009, she worked in the telecommunications industry as a Special Assistant to the Chief Executive Officer. From March 2010 to May 2011, Dr. Pasape joined the Tanzania Chamber of Commerce, Industry, and Agriculture (TCCIA) as a Regional Executive Officer in Arusha, supporting small, medium, and large private sector entities to increase efficiency, productivity, and linkages. Dr. Pasape's academic and research career started in June 2011 as an Assistant Lecturer in the School of Business Studies and Humanities of NM-AIST. She was promoted to the rank of Lecturer in November 2013 after completing her PhD studies, and thereafter served and was promoted to Senior Lecturer from May 2019 to date. Besides, she has been working as an adjunct faculty in various higher learning institutions. As a result of her academic credentials and work experience, Dr. Pasape gained the ability to train, conduct research, and carry out high-level consultancies and tailor-made operations, as well as design, develop, and facilitate corporate strategic plans
, business plans for various purposes, market research, business feasibility studies, economic analysis, product development, monitoring and evaluation of products, formalization and management of business entities, product commercialization, team building, and strategic management.
