SAMIA SCHOLARSHIP 2026/2027 – Applications Now Open

The Ministry of Education, Science and Technology is pleased to announce the SAMIA SCHOLARSHIP 2026/2027 programme for eligible Tanzanian students. The scholarship aims to support outstanding students pursuing studies in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) and advanced technology fields.

1. SAMIA SCHOLARSHIP (STEM)

A total of 1,000 students who achieved outstanding performance in the 2026 ACSEE (Form Six National Examinations) in the following subject combinations are invited to apply:

• PCB
• PCM
• CBG
• PGM
• CBA
• PMC
• CBN

2. SAMIA SCHOLARSHIP EXTENDED (DS/AI+)

A total of 50 students who performed exceptionally well in Physics and Advanced Mathematics in the 2026 ACSEE examinations are invited to apply for the Samia Scholarship Extended (DS/AI+) programme.

3. M.Tech DSAI Scholarship – IITM Zanzibar

Students selected under the Samia Scholarship Extended (SSE DS/AI+) will have the opportunity to pursue a Master of Technology (M.Tech) in Data Science and Artificial Intelligence (DSAI) at the Indian Institute of Technology Madras Zanzibar (IITM Zanzibar) during the 2026/2027 Academic Year.
